The Sole Administrator of Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State, Hon Onyekachukwu Ezenwa has described the state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma as a leader with capacity and good antecedents.
Ezenwa insisted that the governor’s excellent performance will pave way for landslide victory for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming elections in the state.
According to him, Senator Uzodimma has pulled surprises with outstanding achievements that have destabilized the opposition in the state who fed false information to gullible members of the public against the governor.
Ezenwa said the governor’s landmark projects and programmes have questioned their integrity for misleading the Imo people who are now celebrating their governor having known the truth about the governor.
The Eziawa Orsu born businessman turned politician spoke penultimate weekend in Owerri while fielding questions from newsmen.
He said Governor Uzodimma has redefined political leadership and through his achievements made APC attractive and popular.
The Sole Administrator observed that the elections will provide a leeway to a new beginning in Orsu Local Government Area and Imo State in general considering the fact that the APC selected candidates with pedigree and capacity.
He said that the APC would sweep the polls in every part of the state, especially Orsu LGA where the people are impressed with the efforts of the governor.
According to the Sole Administrator, the Imo State Governor has approved the tarring of five kilometre road in every local government area, including Orsu.
He however regretted that the prevailing insecurity in Orsu has affected the implementation of the laudable project in the area and enjoined the people of Orsu to embrace peace.
Hon Ezenwa stressed the need for the youths of Orsu LGA to realize that their homeland is the most cherished heritage that should be protected against intruders who are behind the spate of insecurity in the area.
He added that they should be patriotic and home-conscious as well as avoid actions capable of triggering lawlessness and insecurity
