Uzodimma Promises To Deliver
Two Roads In Four Months

Imo State Government says the reconstruction of Road Safety-Toronto-Orji Road and Toronto-Uzoagba Road will be completed within four months.

The state governor, Senator Hope Uzodimma made the promise on Tuesday at the flag-off of the roads.

The flag off comes few days after President Muhammadu Buhari commissioned the MCC/Uratta Road executed by the Uzodimma administration.

The governor assured that the roads will be commissioned in June this year, adding that he does not believe in talking too much.

According to him, he only believes that his performance will speak for him.

The governor pleaded with the people to cooperate with the contractor, noting that what makes a good leader is one who makes life more bearable to the people.

He urged the people to continue to support his administration, which he said, is committed to the welfare of the Imo people.

He however maintained that his government is constructing the roads so as to make Owerri a befitting state capital in Nigeria, insisting that outside the construction of roads in the capital city, he is equally paying attention to rural roads.
