The Director General of Atiku/Okowa Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, in Imo State, Greg Egu has warned against the All Progressives Congress, APC, retaining power in the country.

According to Egu, voting the APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu on February 25 will spell doom for the country.

The former member for Aboh-Mbaise/Ngor/Okpala Federal Constituency asserted that the APC government has run the country aground.

He maintained that voting Tinubu to continue the obnoxious policies of the APC administration was not the best thing to do.

Speaking with newsmen at the Sam Mbakwe Airport, Owerri at the weekend, Egu urged Nigerians to guard against being deceived by the APC like it did in 2015 when it deployed falsehood and propaganda to topple the PDP from Aso Rock.

Egu recalled how the PDP governed the country from 1999 to 2015 and placed it on the path of growth and prosperity only for the APC to not only stop the growth but also take the country many years backward.

According to him, the cost of living, petrol pump price, dollar-naira disparity, insecurity, ethnic/tribal crisis including corruption were at the lowest ebb compared to what is happening in the country at present.

The Atiku campaigner therefore charged Nigerians to take their destinies in their hands, noting that 2023 remains another opportunity to correct the battered image and future of the country.
