Gunmen on Tuesday invaded the home of Imo Ugochinyere Ikenga, Spokesperson of the Coalition of United Political Parties (CUPP) at Umukegwu Akokwa Community in Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.
The latest attack comes barely three weeks after the same country home of the politician was torched on January 14, 2023 by yet-to-be identified gunmen.
The attackers who carried the first mayhem reportedly killed Imo’s uncle and two others, burnt buildings and razed about 30 vehicles.
It could not be ascertained the level of damage done during the second attack.
Imo alerted the public of Tuesday attack via a short message service.
He wrote; “SOS Ikenga Emergency Alert! My house is under attack again at Umukegwu, Akokwa, Ideato North LGA.
“Please emergency help needed. Ikenga Imo Ugochinyere, PDP House of Representatives candidate Ideato North and South Federal Constituency’.
