Uzodimma Commiserates Nasarawa Gov Over Son’s death

Imo State Governor, Sen. Hope Uzodimma has commiserated with the Governor of Nasarawa State, Abdullahi Sule, over the sudden death of his son, Hassan.

Hassan died suddenly on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at the age of 36, according to a statement by governor’s Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Addra.

He was laid to rest on Friday, January 27, 2023 in Gudi, Akwanga Local Government Area of Nasarawa, the statement added.

In a statement on Friday, by Governor Uzodimma’s Chief Press Secretary, Oguwike Nwachuku, the Imo State Governor said that Hassan’s passing was shocking, devastating and a huge loss to the family, state and the country.

He regretted that Hassan died in his prime when he had a lot to contribute to the betterment of the society.

Governor Uzodimma prayed God to grant Governor Sule, the widow of the deceased and all that he left behind to mourn his death the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.

The governor also urged them to look up to God, the author and giver of life, for the grace to weather the unexpected storm just as he prayed for a peaceful repose of the soul of the deceased.
