The Imo State Police Command has disclosed of the recovery of a missing baby girl in Owerri, the Imo State capital.
The police, in a statement, said a good Samaritan found the girl wandering about at Rotibi Street Owerri on January 21, 2023 and brought her to the police station.
The statement signed by the spokesman of the police in the state, Henry Okoye urged members of the public who may know the dark-skinned girl or her parents to come to the Police Public Relations Office, Police Headquarters, Owerri for identification and collection of the girl.
The statement reads; “The Imo State Police Command wishes to inform the general public of a found one year old baby girl, dark in complexion.
“She was found on 21/1/2023 at about 1500hrs, wandering about at Rotobi Street, Owerri, Imo State, by a good Samaritan.
“Members of the public who may know the child or the parents are by this press release advised to come to the office of the Police Public Relations Office, Police Headquarters, Owerri or call the Police Public Relations Office, on 08083031923 or 08034773600 for identification and collection, please.”
