National Secretary of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Senator Samuel Nnaemeka Anyanwu has charged members of the party in Imo State not to allow the ouster of candidates of the party via courts to discourage them.
Anyanwu noted that the unfavorable judgements against PDP candidates were meant to discourage party members and trigger crisis.
He appealed to the party members to continue to remain steadfast, focused, law abiding and undeterred in the project of ending the misrule of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Recall that the Supreme Court nullified the primary election that produced the PDP Senatorial candidate for Imo West, (Orlu Zone), Jones Onyereri and on Friday, the Appeal Court nullified the election of Albert Agulanna as candidate of the party for Aboh Mbaise and Ngor Okpala Federal Constituency.
Anyanwu insisted that no amount of political gimmicks, tactics, judicial order or frustration targeted at PDP could stop Nigerians from sacking APC government in the 2023 polls.
He added that since the masses are yearning for good governance, the PDP is determined and ever ready to provide such desired services as part of its efforts to better the society..
He enjoined party leaders, stakeholders and members in the state to shun any act of sabotage capable of creating infighting in the party.
The national secretary expressed optimism that if members of PDP could unite as a formidable force, it will be easier to neutralize every gang up against the party before, during and after the 2023 elections.
