He described the Tony Anyadike group comprising Anyadike, Barrister George C. Akagha, Chief Julian Oguike, and Chief Isaac Abaleke as anti-Hope Uzodimma administration agents.

According to him, these people want to cause confusion in the Agbala Community hiding behind town union politics.

He urged the authorities to call Anyadike and cohorts to order so that peace would continue to reign in his kingdom.

The monarch insisted that the rightful ACDU executive known to him is the one led by Dr. Joe Ajaero.

Meanwhile, the leadership of Agbala Community Development Union, ACDU, has dismissed the purported dissolution as illegal.

The President-General of ACDU, Dr. Joe Ajaero made the remark in a letter addressed to the Sole Administrator of Owerri North Local Government Area, Chief Tony Umezuruike.

Ajaero observed that the puroorted dissolution did not follow due process as non-executive members lack authority to dissolve the executive of the ACDU.

He submitted that it would amount to disobedience of constituted authority for any person or group to run an Illegal structure in the Agbala Autonomous Community other than the one appointed by the government.

The president-general also noted that the so-called interim Chairman of ACDU, Barrister George C. Akagha and cohorts are not members of their respective kindred/village associations.

According to him, Akagha who hails from Umuetomoham/Umugweze Village does not belong or associate with his kindred association, the Umugweze Welfare Association.

Ajaero called on the authorities to hold Akagha, Oguike, Anyadike and Abaleke responsible for any breach of peace in the community.

Recall that the executive of ACDU was reportedly dissolved on December 26,2022 following a vote of no confidence passed in the executive.

Subsequently, a six-member caretaker Committee comprising Akagha as Chairman, Dr Emma Nosike as Secretary, Hon Dan Ikpeazu, Engr. Jerome Chieke, Chief Adidas Joe Unegbu and Hays Osuji as members was purportedly constituted.
