A former speaker of the Imo State House of Assembly, Hon. Noel Agwuocha Chukwukadibia has commended five chairmen of Customary Courts in the state for their exemplary conducts.

The commendation is contained in a letter dated December 22, 2022 and personally signed by the erstwhile speaker.

According to Hon. Chukwukadibia, these chairmen of customary courts in the state have introduced innovations which assist lawyer and enhance practice.

The Principal Partner of Onazaekpere Chambers, Egbeada Housing Estate, Owerri said the chairmen are punctual to duty, decorous to lawyers appearing before them and work under terrible court rooms with perseverance.

He noted that in spite of working in extreme conditions, they still create time to write books that aid both the bar and bench.
