They announced the endorsement in a statement signed by Chief Engr. Emmanuel Maduabuchi Ihenacho, Coordinator, San Francisco, California and Comrade Nnamdi Iyioku, Coordinator, London, United Kingdom

Their statement reads in part; “We recognise Senator Izunaso’s past track records, which have endeared him to us above other candidates vying for the Imo West Senatorial seat.

“Should he be given the chance to return to the Senate, he will be a ranking Senator from the South East Zone hence the benefits abound.

“Senator Izunaso has also distinguished himself as humanitarian and philanthropist, who has over the years, engaged in human capital development through his ‘Kpakpando ‘Foundation, which has mobilized and provided support to many less privileged persons.

“In our opinion, voting for Senator Izunaso is a way of saying that he should continue his good work for the people of Imo State and the South East Zone.

“We believe that sending Senator Izunaso back to the Senate will bring greater democracy dividends to Imo State and the South East Zone in general.

“We therefore urge all Imo West sons and daughters at home to pick up their PVCs and vote for Senator Osita Izunaso, the APC Candidate for the Imo West Senatorial District”.
