The Eziachi General Assembly Owerri Branch on Sunday, December 18, 2022 endorsed the 2023 All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for the Orlu/Orsu/Oru East Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, Chief Canice Moore Chukwugozie Nwachukwu.
The assembly vowed not only to vote for him but also to galvanize others to ensure he emerges victorious at the 2023 election.
The Chairman of the assembly, Sir Mba Innocent made the position of the group known at the group’s end of the year party and reunion held in Owerri, the state capital.
According to him, seeing and hearing from Chief Nwachukwu, popularly known as Omeogo and his team, is an indication that the federal constituency is blessed to send such a grassroots person to the National Assembly.
He listed their reasons for adopting Omeogo to include his goodness, viability and magnanimity to humanity across board, blueprint and godliness.
Mba maintained that the group would leave no stone unturned to elect Omeogo into the Green Chamber of the National Assembly in 2023.
In his speech, Omeogo informed the assembly that his quest to be a member of the National Assembly is for the good and betterment of the federal constituency.
Omeogo promised to carry the community along in his empowerment programmes.
He pleaded with the people of Eziachi not to only vote for him but to also vote for one of their sons, Barr. Ikenna Ihezuo to represent Orlu Constituency in the Imo State House of Assembly..
