The Chairman of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Imo State Council, Ifeanyi Nwanguma, has approved the appointment of Barr. Ezekwesiri Nwauwa as the Legal Adviser of the council.
Nwauwa’s appointment was announced in a statement signed by the Council Secretary, Treasure Ihechi-Nwamah.
Nwamah said the appointment is to reposition the council for better service delivery.
According to the statement dated Friday, November 25, 2022, the appointment takes immediate effect.
Barr. Ezekwesiri Uchechukwu Nwauwa, hails from Ndiuloukwu Community Izombe, in Oguta Local Government Area of Imo State.
He obtained LLB from Anambra State University in 2009, and was called to Nigeria Bar in 2012.
He also holds a Masters degree in Law from Coventry University England.
Currently, Barr. Ezekwesiri Nwauwa, is the Head of Duke Royal Chambers Owerri, and
is happily married with three children.
