The traditional institution made of obas and titled chiefs as well as clergies will not be left out. Of course, it is the clergymen that will preside over much of the funeral ceremony such aa the service of songs and the commendation service.
Owo, hometown of the Akeredolus will certainly witness a throng. A large crowd of the creme de la crreme will take part in the activities that will precede the burial of her remains.
The traditional Ajabue procession round Owo town for the late matriarch took place on Wednesday, November 9.
A service of songs in her honour will hold at St. Matthias Anglican Church, Orogun, Ibadan and at Jacob and Grace Chapel of All Saints Church, Iddo Eruwa Road Ibadan, Oyo State on Thursday, November 10, 2022.
A statement released by Oluwole Akeredolu and Kolawole Akeredolu further disclosed that the commendation service will hold at St. Anne’s Anglican Church, Molete, Ibadan Oyo State on Friday, November 11, 2022.
It added that another service of songs will hold at St. Andrew’s Cathedral, Imola Street, Owo, Ondo State and a wake keep at Jacob & Grace Garden, Opposite Imade College, Oke Ogun, Owo same day.
According to the statement, the interment takes place immediately after the funeral service at St. Andrew’s Cathedral Imole, Owo, Ondo State on Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Lady Evangelist Grace Bosede Akeredolu died peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, September 15, 2022. She was aged 90.
