Nollywood actor, Osinachi Dikeh popularly known as Egbe-Igwe Apama may drag the management of Air Peace to court if it fails to refund him after cancelling a flight in which he was to travel from Owerri, Imo State to Lagos.
Apama who lodged a complaint to the Airline after the cancellation, said the one month given by the management to refund the air fare expires on October 7.
Speaking via telephone on Thursday, Apama disclosed that he might consider the legal option if the airline breaches the agreement on refund.
The easy-going actor had made a live video from the Departure Hall of the Sam Mbakwe Airport in Owerri expressing his anger over the negligence of the Air Peace to the plight of its passengers who were travelling to Lagos on the fateful day.
He stated in the video that he was billed to be at an event which the organizers had earlier paid him.
Apama implied that the cancellation of the flight could have resulted to refunding the organizers who contracted him the money they paid in full if he had no alternative means of traveling to Lagos for the show.
The actor said; “I booked Air Peace ticket worth N95,000 for a flight from Owerri Imo State to Lagos State. The flight was billed for September 7.
“Upon the agreed time the flight was meant to take off, there was no sign that the flight would hold. Passengers were all outside stranded. The flight was later cancelled for the day and rescheduled for the following day being September 8 which was also cancelled with no refund till date.
The actor expressed his disappointment over the incident, stating that Air Peace operators gave no reason as the cause for the flight cancellation.
